Nha Trang College of Technology and Technology participated in a trial evaluation according to UK quality standards in 2018

Follow Decision No. 999 / QD-TCGDNN dated August 7, 2018, of the General Department of Vocational Training on approving the selection of 04 colleges participating in the pilot evaluation according to the United Kingdom's quality standards of the year. 2018, the project is within the framework of EU VET Toolbox program funded by the European Union and the German Government, the program is implemented by 4 EU organizations: Belgian Technical Cooperation, British Council, GIZ and LuxDev of Luxembourg. Nha Trang College of Technology and Technology is one of 04 schools selected to participate in the assessment in 2018.
              The goal of the project is to determine how well the currently assessed schools meet international standards, thereby helping the school develop development plans to become high quality schools that meet national standards. International. Evaluation results also help the school set out solutions to meet the goal of high quality schools approaching international qualifications and improving the quality of vocational education to meet the current integration requirements.

After 3 days of conducting evaluation activities at the school from November 1 to November 3, 2018, the results are as follows:
          Regarding the working method: Experts apply a variety of assessment methods and include: Meeting with 12 departmental officials and 20 lecturers; attend and observe about 168 students in different classroom contexts; exchanging with 2 student groups of 42 students; 7 hours of lessons; visit 1 class; meet 3 businesses; review information including teaching schedule, lesson plan and student work; meeting with representatives of the Department of Personnel and Training, the Training Department, the admissions department and reviewing other relevant documents.
           Experts commented the following:
           Board of Directors and faculty leaders, leaders with strategic vision; Deans are enthusiastic, positive, supportive and work with students in a constructive spirit; enthusiastic, professional and dedicated teaching staff, promoting the "learner-centered" strategy for "better or better" lessons; excellent, disciplined, proud students of the University and supported by good policies; Connect with businesses effectively with cooperative relationships in the field of Automotive, Hotel Management and other priority professions; a higher percentage of graduates are employed or educated; facilities and resources for students to learn and develop excellence; Balanced curriculum, which is constantly changing and responding to the needs of local and regional businesses, is likely to be more specialized; Teaching and learning activities are evaluated as "good" and can be "excellent" if lecturers and management are committed to continuous improvement; frequent professional training opportunities to improve the skills of lecturers, for example, training in the UK, Malaysia, Australia and Germany; Graduation results and graduate degree in the profession are high.
             About evaluation of lectures: Experts attend 7 lessons and evaluate as follows: 1 excellent period, 4 good periods, 2 periods for improvement.
             Besides, experts also point out the things that the school needs to improve. The school noted and in the near future there will be remedial plans for the school to improve and become a high-quality school of the whole country./.
